There has been no internet service where we have been for the past few days, so we will bring you up to date over the next few days

Day 2  Followed the Murray to Morgan then turned to Burra where we stayed overnight  Ruin in canola field outside BurraDSC_0086 (2)

Day 3 Headed west along the bottom edges of Flinders ranges, after just under 300km arrived at Lyndhurst which outside of a few ks is the last tar we will see for 700kms. Travelled a further 25 ks  to Farina campground

Farina was a small town est 1887 that went into decline after rail head went to Hergott Springs/Marree and is now in ruins. A voluntary restoration committee has preserved these ruins and built/restored the war memorial, which stands above the campground, giving campers a opportunity to pay respects as the sun sets in the background.

The campground is very well maintained, with showers flushing toilets and fire pits. Great atmosphere both historically and socially, at $5 a head  per night it is worth a 2 night stay as we did
