Arrived in Oodnadatta about 1pm. Famous Pink roadhouse a bit of a disappointment really just a supermarket once you get past the paint
Enjoyed a few beers at the Tricontinental Hotel where Steve and his wife were filling in for owner who was in Adelaide He is a chef and she a computer programmer and have been travelling for 2 years , stopping to work occasionally when kitty runs low. Lyn had her photo taken with a aboriginal local who assures us he is a film star. I think he may have been in a film called Yudum shot here in 2011, but not in a starring role.

Unfortunately the photo is on Lyn’s phone
Museum is free and gives a great pictorial history of the people of Oodnadatta and surrounds.
Also I managed to run over the portable kitchen
