Day 12 Left Yulara at around 0900 for Kings Canyon 304k trip, stopped off to get a distant photo of Mt Conner then continued to KK arriving around 1pm.Set up camp and relaxed till sunset viewing which was disappointing.
Day 13 did the Kings Creek walk and the Kathleen Springs walks KK is spectacular and KS was also well worth the time. We did not do the rim walk which is apparently even better but took a helicopter flight instead.
The United Nations moved into the next campsite 5 fellas all of different nationalities,they introduced themselves and after some conversations we are led to believe they were associated with the Catholic Church in Alice, anyhow they were good friendly neighbours
like Uluru it is very pricey but much smaller everything within 500 meters we found it easier to soak up the atmosphere
We both enjoyed KK and feel it is a must see if touring The Centre
