Day 17 Back to the West McDonnells first stop Ormiston Gorge and a 2 1/2 hour walk up to the lookout then down to gorge floor and back to car park. This was the most impressive of the gorges and our most enjoyable walk.
Next stop Glen Helen gorge, a 10 minute walk from the resort and you are there, quite scenic with larger body of water but relatively underwhelming.
Heading back home we called into Serpentine gorge a 1 hour return walk along another dry river bed down to a cool serene waterhole. Back to caravan park at 4.30.
