NTH QLD TRIP

Headed off at 0830 straight up the Newell highway to Gilgandra, pulled in for fuel and ran into the recently retired Bev. Turned left onto the Castlereagh highway which was more like rodeo drive even though its sealed. Quick lunch break at Walgett which looks like a good place to drive through. Arrived at Lightning ridge at 1530 booked in and settled for day.
