Mundubbera

Left Rocky around 0800, steep climb up Mt Morgan then continued up down and along the great divide. Farming alternates between cattle grazing and cropping then to fruit as we  near Mundubbera. Mundubbera situated on the Burnett river which is joined by the Auburn and Boyne rivers a little upstream, providing irrigation for the area. Mundubbera claims to be the citrus capital of Qld also grows mangoes, avocados, stone fruit and blueberries. Currently they are harvesting blueberries which have been very successful as there are plans to double the size of the operation next year.

Stayed at the 3 rivers CP for the night.
